Configuring Load Balanced Environment

The following procedures are needed if the environment needs to be configured for load balancing:

  1. Ensure the the property value for com.bankerssystems.database.organization.caching is set to false during the Document Generation Services installation. See Caching database organizations configurable.
  2. Ensure that the property value for OPPSA.EXPEREENDPOINTADDRESS is set to ‘localhost’. See ‘Modify Transforms.xml File
  3. Confirm that the Application ID for website in IIS is the same ID for each OPPSA application servers. Example: Confirm “id:1” is the same for each server.

  4. Confirm that Machine Key values exist and are the same for each server that has the OPPSA Application installed.
    • For each server that has OPPSA application installed, open Internet Information Services (IIS), select the server name, and double-click the Machine Key icon in the ASP.Net category. Review the Validation and Decryption key values and confirm the values are same for all servers that have OPPSA installed.
      • If Machine Keys values do not exist for any server, the value can be generated using IIS by clicking ‘Generate a Unique Key for each application’. Once generated, the Validation and Decryption keys should be used as the key value for all other servers with OPPSA installed (copy the generated values and paste as the value for other servers so all have the same key).
